When the standard practice is to prioritize large, impersonal meetings in large commercial buildings, the reality is participants rarely experience the clear Biblical instructions that God has ordained for the “Body of Christ”. While most “churches” are pretty quick to preach “don’t forsake the gathering”, they rarely live out the very purposes for the instruction.

The KOG Alliance is for God’s people who have been or who are being called out called out of commercialized / cultural religion. We’re for those who desire to follow the Biblical pattern of gathering in smaller groups as “One New Man” for the Glory of God and to further His Kingdom.

There are many Biblical and other essential purposes for meeting this way. One very important reason is that smaller groups provide a place for God’s people to function in accordance with their giftings.

Small groups can go by different names: Home groups, congregation, recovery groups, assembly, home church, life groups, support groups, and fellowship groups are some examples.

But whatever the case, the goal of the KOG alliance is for God’s people to grow both individually and together as One New Man in union with God for His glory and His Kingdom.
