This is in process
The KOG Alliance embraces the whole Bible (Genesis – Revelation) including Jesus / Yeshua, the Anointed One, the Messiah of Israel. (Matthew 19:28; 25:31). We are not, nor ever have been, associated with the SDA, WWCG, British Israel, or other such groups. Neither do we accept what is commonly referred to as “replacement theology.
We believe that God is in the process of calling out a people, chosen by Him, to represent Him in these days. They are referred to in various ways throughout the Bible including Israel, “The Remnant”, “One New Man”, and the “Ecclesia”.
Statement of Belief
1. Of the Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible is based upon the Torah, also known as the Penteteuch, that it was verbally inspired (II Timothy 3:16-17) and the product of Spirit inspired men (II Peter 1:19-21), and therefore, in it’s original form it is Truth without error (John 17:17). We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible to be the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions, shall be tried (Jude 1:3).
2. Of the Godhead
We believe that there is only one living and true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; I Timothy 2:5), infinite in every excellence; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — yet one in substance and equal in every divine perfection (Isaiah 48:16; Matthew 28:19), and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of creation (Genesis 1:1) and redemption (John 3:16).
a. Father
We believe in God the Father. The Son has voluntarily elected to do the will of the Father in dependence upon the Spirit. He is the Father of creation (Malachi 2:10), Israel (Exodus 4:22), Yeshua Messiah (John 20:17) (not a relationship of derivation or inferiority), and the believers (Romans 8:15-16).
b. Son
We believe that Yeshua Messiah is co-equal with God the Father. Yeshua came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), for the lost sheep of the House of Israel (Mt. 15:24), and for all who would want to benefit from the life only He can provide (John 10:16). By His vicarious death, He made possible the reconciliation of depraved man with a holy and just God (Hebrews 10:12). We further believe that He physically died and arose from the grave. Upon completing His post-resurrection ministry, He ascended on high where He is presently interceding for His people (Hebrews 7:15), and shall subsequently return for His for them (I Thessalonians 4:15-17) and set up His earthly kingdom (Luke 1:33).
c. Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person (John 16:13), equal with the Father and Son and of the same substance and nature; that He convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (II Corinthians 13:14, bears witness to the truth (John 14:16), is the Agent of the New Birth (John 3:6), and that He seals, endues (I Corinthians 12:7). guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies, and helps the believer, indwelling every true Child of God (Romans 8:14-27).
3. Of Angels
Angels are created (Colossians 1:16; Psalm 148:5), spirit-beings of various rank and order. This company of everlasting beings are super-natural in intelligence and strength. They were created holy and good (Genesis 1:31), but due to sin many fell from their holy state and are now confirmed in wickedness (Isaiah 14; Ezekiel 28). Those who preserved their integrity are God’s messengers (Hebrews 1:14), whereas the fallen angels execute satan’s desires in hindering God’s work and afflicting God’s people.
4. satan and his demons
The satan (aka the devil, adversary and other names) is the enemy of all of God’s creation. As Yahweh God is the giver of life the satan is the author of death and works feverishly to destroy everything good that he can. He brings death, destruction, disease, pain, hurt and all things evil. We believe in the distinct personality of the satan (Matthew 4:1-3), that he is the unholy god of this world (II Corinthians 4:4), author of all powers of darkness and sin, that Yeshua defeated him and gave all others that are empowered by the Holy Spirit to take authority over evil as led by the Spirit of God. Ultimately the satan is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire (Revelations 20:10).
5. Of the Creation
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1-2), including all life (Colossians 1:16-17); John 1:3), “each after its own kind” (Genesis 1:24), by direct act, and not by the process of evolution (Psalm 33:6).
6. Of Man
We believe that man in the person of the first Adam, was created in innocence but by voluntary transgression fell into sin (Genesis 3), thus plunging the whole race into condemnation (Romans 5:12) and total depravity. (Ephesians 2:1). Consequently, all men are born sinners and, without the Spirit of God, they are directed by their sin natures toward willful acts of sin. Thus having knowledge of their sin and the manifestation of the power of God, are now without excuse before God (Romans 1:18-2:1). Apart from God’s work of grace all men would be on their way to eternal torment (Revelation 20:15). God enabling some men to receive the light of the glorious Gospel of Messiah, they are then passed from death to eternal life forever secure in Heaven (John 10:28-29; Romans 8:29-39).
7. Of Salvation
We believe that the only escape from the condemnation of sin and the grip of evil is through the redemption available through Yeshua Messiah, when He voluntarily took upon Himself a human body and nature, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15), and by His death made a full and vicarious atonement sufficient for all sin (I John 2:2), that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a martyr, but a voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner’s place, the Just dying for the unjust (I Peter 3:18).
We believe that in order to be saved and delivered people must be born again (John 3:3), that the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus; that it is instantaneous; that in the new birth the one dead in trespasses and in sins is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and receives eternal life, the free gift of God (John 3:16; Romans 3:24); and that no man or spirit can take us from His hand. The new creation is brought about in a manner above our comprehension, solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel; followed by subsequent in-fillings of the Spirit that all Believers should seek. The new creation is brought about in a manner above our comprehension, solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel; that its proper evidence appears (Matthew 16:18); established by Yeshua Messiah, who is its sole Head (Ephesians 1:22-23); revealed through the holy Apostles; empowered and perpetuated by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8); His “body” for service (I Corinthians 12:13-28); and His “bride” for glory.
We understand the Beleiver’s (water) Baptism (Mikvah) as the immersion of a believer in water (Acts 8:36-39). It sets forth in a beautiful and solemn way a cleansing of sin and our faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with the effects of that faith in our lives as it produces death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Romans 6:3-5).
8. Filling / Baptism of the Holy Spirit
All believers should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Master Yeshua Messiah. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry according to Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31.
9. Healing
Yeshua came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), which is destruction up to and including death, and to bring “life” to a fallen world (John 14:6). That “life” is whole, complete and eternal, beginning immediately upon receiving Holy Spirit. While we acknowledge that, for reasons we don’t fully understand, some receive healing and others don’t, we also acknowledge that Yeshua went about healing all *Acts 10:38), that He wants everyone to walk in the fulness of life (John 14:6), and that he left instructions for us to do as He did so that His people could experience life as He had it (Mark 16:16-18).
10. Israel
The body politic currently occupying the land known as Israel in the Middle East is not what we are refering to on this web site as “Israel” unless specifically identified as such. We want to stress that we are not “antiJewish” in any way. However, the current Jewish political body that refers to itself as Israel, cultural Judaism, and the Jewish religion is all distinctly separate from the “One New Man” of “Biblical Israel”.
We consider Biblical Israel to be all people of Yeshua (Luke 1:68, Gal. 6:16) including all twelve tribes (Gen. 49, Rev.21:12), regardless of color, “nationality”, or where they currently reside. In accordance with the Prophets, Yeshua, and the Apostles, eventually the “One New Man” of “Biblical Israel” will return to the covenant land of Israel (Gen. 15-17)
11. Appointed Times / Biblical Holydays / Feasts
We ignore most American holidays (other than Thanksgiving) which mostly have pagan roots and manifestations. Instead we embrace the Biblical holidays. The Bible reveals that these are not “Jewish” holidays. Rather they are identified as “The Lords” for all of God’s people to celebrate “forever”; see Leviticus 23. The covenental agreement between Yahweh God and His people has changed since the “feast days” or “Appointed Times” were first initiated however the basic principles of them can still be applied. They all offer prophetic insight. Some of them represent what Yeshua has already accomplished while others point to what is working toward complete fulfillment.
12. Civil Government
We are not antigovernment. We believe that the concept of civil government is was created to be beneficial and good; representing the interests, well-being, and good order of human society. This consists of absolute constraint of the government to the civil realm, not interfering or influencing in the spiritual realm of the Israel of God. Those in leadership are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored, and obeyed (Matthew 22:21); except in things opposed to the will of our Master Yeshua Messiah (Acts 5:29; 4:19-20) who is the only Master of the conscience, the King of Kings, and the coming Prince.
