Summary
In this teaching I address how important it is for the Remnant to turn away from the things of the world and embrace the ways of the Most High. I also touch upon the result of doing so in in today’s world. I’ll be sharing some thought-provoking insights and photographs of swastikas that were incorporated into “Christian” churches during World War II.
After that, stay tuned to learn about the Biblical holidays / holy days of Unleavened Bread and First Fruits. I then discuss how they connect us to the Renewed covenant and the Messiah Himself.
I finish up by celebrating the blessings that all who are truly in covenant with the Creator have as recipients of the fantastic freedom and liberty that we have in Yeshua / Jesus. You won’t want to miss this.

Transcript with minor changes for readability
Today I’ll be discussing the Biblical Holy Days of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Liberty.
But before I begin today’s teaching, I would like to acknowledge and bless those of you who are genuinely seeking the Most High and His ways. As you probably know, Honoring the Creator makes you an anomaly to the rest of the world.
Many who claim to follow the Most High today are undistinguishable from the rest of the world.

Apostacy in Christianity
As an example of this, take a look at these images of nazi Germany swastikas, the nazi soldiers, and German priests. You will see that these swastikas were incorporated into so-called “Christian churches” when the nazi’s controlled Germany during World War Two. Of course the swastikas were only exemplary of what was happening behind the scenes.

More modern examples of Christian Apostacy

Along these lines, Jeremiah 10:1-3 says:
Hear you the word, which the Eternal speaks unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus says the Eternal, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of Heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain.
And then it goes on to talk about how Christmas (Christ-mass) trees are a form of pagan worship.

It was to these kinds of things Yeshua said, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me”. Matthew 15:8
How to Live the Ancient Life Today
This is what the Most High says in Jeremiah 6:16:
Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old (ETERNAL) paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls.
In Colossians. 2:16, Apostle Paul confirms these things that Yeshua, and Jeremiah 6:16 says, as He says:
“Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
There are MANY ancient ways that we are to walk in that would be beneficial to us.
Biblical Holidays
The Biblical Holidays go by different names: Holy Days, Appointed Times, Feast Days, or Moed’ em.
Today we are going to specifically address two of the Appointed Times that Apostle Paul was referencing in Colosians 2:16 (above).
Unleavened Bread
Leviticus 23:5-8
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Eternal’S Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto the Eternal: seven days you must eat Unleavened Bread. 7 In the first day you shall have an holy convocation: you shall do no service work therein. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Eternal seven days: in the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no service work therein.
See also: Exodus 12:14-20
Unleavened Bread is a time of remembrance in order to remove the sin from our lives.
In regards to burnt offerings during Unleavened Bread, Leviticus 23:8 says
“You shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Eternal seven days: in the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no service work therein.”
This is what Leviticus 1:1-4 says regarding Burnt Offerings:
Now the Eternal called to Moses, and spoke to Him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Eternal, you shall bring your offering of the livestock—of the herd and of the flock. If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let Him offer a male without blemish; He shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Eternal. Then He shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for Him.’”
From what I just read in Leviticus, consider the concepts of
– An offering made by fire
– A whole animal without a blemish
Unleavened Bread isa time for us to contemplate the removal of ALL of the sin from our lives.
As I see it there are three BASIC types of sin:
- Unintentional sin
- Sins of Commission
- Sins of Ommision
Numbers 15:22 addresses unintentional sin.
Here is an example of what unintentional sin might look like: As you are driving down a four lane road, you look in the mirror, signal, begin to change lanes, and nearly run a motor cycle off of the road that was in your blind spot because you didn’t see Him.
Sins of COmmission
There are a multitude of sins that we are all very familiar with such as fear, unrighteous anger, theft, the Ten commandments, et cettra.
Sin of Omission:
There are two basic categories of the sin of Omission:
1) Failing to realize that you sinned
Example: you didn’t know about the Appointed Times before you celebrated them.
2) Neglecting to do something specific that you knew you should have done.
Apostle Paul put it this way:
Romans 7:14-20
14For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. 15For I do not understand My own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. 16Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. 17So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in My flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
Why is understanding and removing sin so important?
Because sin separates us from God.
Sin leads to death in spirit, soul, and / or the body. Because the spirit, soul, and body and so intricately related, one single sin CAN effect EVERY area of our lives: And in fact, often does.
The word sin in the Bible is translated from a variety of Hebrew and Greek words that have similar, but distinct meanings. However, they ALL are a reference to being misaligned with the Divine and His Word: And therefor they ALL lead to death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ the Messiah Jesus our Eternal.
Apostle Paul ALSO said that we all sin, and fall short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
As I mentioned, understanding sin and how to function is important.
1 John 1:8 says that If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Unleavened Bread is about releasing and overcoming sin
Unleavened Bread speaks of both releasing our sin to the Messiah as well as of the Messiah Himself who takes our sin away.
In John 1:29 John the Baptist is quoted saying:
“Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world,”
The Feast of First Fruits
Inside the seven days of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6 above) there will naturally, always be the regular, weekly Sabbath.
The day following that weekly Sabbath is another, separate Holy Day called First Fruits; it can be found in Leviticus. 23:9-14.
Lev 23:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD. 13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin. 14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
First Fruits is a Biblical Holiday, but it is not a High Holy Day: In other words, First Fruits is not a Sabbath.
Initially, First Fruits was only for the Levitical Priests. But in these days we understand that it has meaning for ALL of us.
So this is the way it goes:
-There is the first day of Unleavened Bread (High Holy day / Sabbath)
-And then the weekly Sabbath naturally falls within those seven days
-The day after the weekly Sabbath is the Day of First Fruits (NOT a Sabbath day)
-The 7th day concludes the Appointed Time of Unleavened Bread (High Holy day / Sabbath)
In ancient Israel, on the first day of First Fruits, the priest waved a sheaf of the first fruits of the barley harvest before the Almighty.
It was both an offering of the first fruits of the Harvest back to the One who provided the harvest, and it was also a dedication of the Barley harvest to the One who made it possible.
Prophetically First Fruits points us to Yeshua who was NOT a Levitical Priest but who is our High Priest in the order of Melchezedeck. Hebrews 7:17
Our High Priest who stands alone before the Father offering all He is, and all He has, back to Him.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23
20 But now is Christ the Messiah has risen from the dead, and become the First Fruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man (Adam) came death, by man (Yeshua) came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ the Messiah shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ the Messiah’s at his coming.
Along with 1 Corinthians 15:20-23, Colossians 1:18-21 is also very applicable to this discussion:
Colossians 1:18 And He is the head of the body, the Ecclesia / church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in Heaven. 21 And you (lost Israel), that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled (back to Himself).
The Messiah Yeshua stands alone as the First Fruit offering back to the Father: The First of the sons and daughters of the harvest that will represent Him in these last days. It is the final showdown between the God of good and the god of evil.
Hebrews 10:11-14
11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.
It is the work of Yeshua that makes it possible for us to align in union with the Father.
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ the Messiah once for all.
Yeshua came to call the Remnant back to the Father
Among other things, Yeshua came to call the Remnant back to the Father: Those who will be representing the Most High in the last days.
Isaiah 40:3 -5
The voice of Him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Eternal, make straight in the desert a highway for our God / Elohim. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the Eternal shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Eternal has spoken it.
And then Isaiah 43:5-7 and verse 20 reads
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; 6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even every one that is called by My name: for I have created Him for My glory, I have formed Him; yea, I have made Him.
Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen.
Conclusion
What I have discussed today is basically the Renewed Covenant. In fact a title like “What is the Renewed Covenant” would have been very appropriate for this teaching.
Listen again to Jeremiah’s prophecy about the coming Renewed Covenant.
Jeremiah 31:31-34
31 Behold, the days come, says the Eternal, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the Eternal: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the Eternal, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Eternal: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the Eternal: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
The Bible, and other ancient documents that confirm it, are our Passport to freedom: Liberty in Yeshua
“Your word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Psalm 119:11
Embrace the principles of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and the weekly Sabbath. You will find them ALL in the book. They reveal, to us the pathway of life.
Remove EVERY barrier that stands between you and the Divine.
When you do that you can:
Stand fast therefore in the liberty in which the Messiah HAS made us free.
Galatians 5:1
The hard work has been done… now you just have to embrace it.
May the Most High richly bless you in your journey.
