Summary

If you have not yet seen, read, or heard “The Core of Man” teaching then I highly recommend that you take advantage of it. It will provide a good foundation for this teaching and it will help you understand how and why you are a LITERAL “Child of God”. Click here for “The Core of Man”.

Through this teaching, those in covenant with the Creator will come to know how, at the core of your being, you are a literal child of God. We will explore the concept of being “born from above”, how you are the literal “offspring” of the Most High, and how that can become reality for you.

I also highlight the importance of understanding your spiritual self and the love that our Heavenly Father has lavished upon you. I encourage you to embrace these realities and deepen your union with the Divine.

This teaching will help you understand yourself, the universe you live in, and the role you play in it.

Jesus Christ is the King of the world. He will lead the Remnant in the end times.

The Remnant will share the love of God as they go about healing and other miracles.

The Biblical, Christian message can be offensive to those who deny or reject God.

If you’re watching by video, and if you are sincerely seeking the things of the Most High, then I invite you to join the discussions that we have regarding our weekly teachings.

These teachings are not intended to be for everyone. They are especially designed for the Remnant: Those seeking the deeper things of the Most High who are called to walk in His light and glorify Him in these days, and in the days ahead. If that is what you are called to, then feel free to contact me to see how you might be interested in being a part of what what the Most High is doing here.

What I am going to discuss today is related very closely to a previous teaching titled “The Core of Man”. I highly encourage you to take advantage of that teaching. It lays the foundation for this one.

I have titled this teaching “You Are a Child of God”: But I COULD have called it “The Core of Man Part 2”. If you have heard The Core of Man teaching you may even recognize some of what I will be covering today: Particularly in the first half.

If you haven’t seriously considered what it means to be a literal “Child of God” before, it is my prayer that you will embrace being a “child of God”: Not metaphorically, not just “spiritually”, but literally.

The Bible indicates that if you are in covenant with the Most High, then at your core, you are a spirit being. You are a spirit, with a soul, housed in a body.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart.

Psalm 139: 13-18 says (in part) You formed my inward parts. You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully made.

Similar to Psalm 139, Gen. 1:26 clearly states that you were made in God’s image.

When the Bible says that you were “made in God’s image”, do you think it means that the Creator created your physical body to resemble HIS? Probably not.

Being made in God’s image means that you are a spirit being because “God is Spirit” John 4:23.

I believe that this is what Yeshua meant when He said “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Most will translate that verse to simply say “born again” and so they take that verse to mean that you are somehow reborn AFTER you are born in the flesh. But the text doesn’t require that and it doesn’t seem to say that. A more literal translation of that verse seems to be “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Your Bible notes and side margins will probably confirm that: If not, a word study will. So then when were you born from above?

Here is a bit of a review of some highlights that we have covered so far.

  • Before you were born into the natural realm. You were set apart and your Creator knew you before He formed you in the womb. Jeremiah 1:5
  • King David told the Creator that “You wove me in my mother’s womb, I am fearfully made, and You formed my inward parts. Psalm 139: 13-18 for more.
  • Gen. 1:26 says that you were created in the image of God.
  • And John 4:23 says that God is Spirit.

It seems that there is little agreement these days on much of anything. And so like most things, some disagree with me on this too. But as I have said, the Scriptures seem to indicate that you were a spirit being in eternity past before even being introduced into this earthly realm.

And it IS clear that once you enter into covenant with the Divine that you are enabled to come alive as a spiritual being. And it is also clear that you will remain a spirit being in the end.

But regardless of PRECISELY how all of that is, if you are sincerely in covenant with the Divine, then you are the OFFSPRING of God, Acts 17:29: And the Divine is your Father.

Hebrews12:9 says
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

And what an AWESOME privilege it is….

In 1 John 3:1 Apostle John confirms this idea when he says:
“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”

In Malachi 2:1 Malachi writes “To Israel by Malachi”. And then in Verse 10 He says  “Have we not all one father? Has not one God created us?”

And then in Ecclesiastes 12:7, regarding the conclusion of the human life Solomon says that the dust returns to the earth as it was: “and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it”.

A few minutes ago I read 1 John 3:1: “How great is the love that the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”

I hope that you can see now that being a child of God and receiving our Heavenly Father’s love is an indescribable blessing.

Could it be that when Yeshua responded to the request of the Apostles to “teach us how to pray” that these are the kinds of things He had in mind when He said to say “Our FATHER who is in Heaven?” Matthew 6:9

Undoubtedly you have heard that you are a child of God before. I know very well that someone could hear the high points of what I have said today and say with a yawn, “yeah I know I’m a child of God”:

But I ask you to ponder what has been shown here today:

  • You are the offspring of the Father of spirits
  • You existed in eternity past
  • You exist as a spiritual being now
  • You will exist as a spiritual being in the future

If you conscientiously consider and contemplate these things I believe that these realities will play a vital role in gaining a proper perspective of the universe, your part and purpose in it, and your CONNECTION and UNION with your Creator.

Embracing that you are the literal offspring of God is of vital importance to the Remnant: It would be impossible to be any more intimately united with Him. Walking in this reality should provide you with confidence and assurance that He will never “leave you nor forsake you”.

May the Most High richly bless you in your journey.
